Adapting seamlessly to new situations

Having begun her legal career during a pandemic, Camille has taken changes to the legal profession and court system in stride, demonstrating her ability to adapt quickly and seamlessly to new situations. Having previously practiced in civil litigation, Camille brings her years of litigation experience into her family law practice, but does not shy away from negotiating or mediating outside of court wherever possible to achieve the best result for her clients.

Originally from Montréal but raised in Calgary, Alberta, Camille grew up in an anglophone environment but never lost touch with her francophone roots. Camille est parfaitement bilingue et fière de pouvoir assister ses clients en français et/ou en anglais. Camille completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where she graduated with high distinction. She then moved to Ottawa to obtain her law degree from the University of Ottawa, where she sought to establish new roots in the Ottawa community. She became an executive member of the Ottawa chapter of the Legal Education and Action Fund, an organization devoted to the substantive equality of all women in Canada, and sharpened her litigation skills through internships with Toronto and Ottawa based law firms. Since her call to the Law Society of Ontario in 2021, Camille has presented at regional law conferences and events on topics such as the tort of family violence, and property division issues. Camille is a member of the local Advocacy Club in Ottawa, and a member of l’Association des Juristes d’Expression Francaise de l’Ontario (AJEFO).

Outside of the office, you might find Camille practicing aerial silks, planning her next backcountry camping trip, or embroidering.
